Family friendly Strattons Hotel.......

Strattons has always enjoyed welcoming youngsters of all ages to bring the old Villa house to life.
We recommend our Red Room Suite, Edie Suite or Print Room One for families as they have plenty of room, although some of our double rooms can accommodate a cot or small bed.  Please let us know at the time of booking to ensure we find you a suitable room.

There is plenty to do in and around the local area and we recommend Church Farm at Stow Bardolph; Go Ape & Bike Art at High Lodge; The Dinosaur Park at Lenwade; BeWILDerwood tree adventures outside Norwich and lots more.

Children’s meals are available in Cocoes café deli (please check for opening times) within the main hotel grounds or within with the hotel's restaurant daily from 6.30pm. If you would like anything specific please feel free to call us on 01760 723845 to discuss your needs.

The café offers daily changing hot and cold dishes; made with seasonal & local ingredients; organic wherever possible.

Children are also welcome from 6.30pm in the main restaurant; eating smaller portions from the a la carte menu. We advise booking your table in advance to avoid disappointment. When your child is eating with you in the restaurant please be mindful of other guest’s enjoyment. It is perfectly possible to have a children’s tea earlier in Cocoes, but still enjoy having your child sit with you in the restaurant later on in the evening. However, we would suggest letting us know in advance to ensure adequate seating arrangements, especially on the busy evenings of Friday and Saturday night. Baby listening can be arranged through our internal telephone system but is not possible for outside suites or rooms.

Baby sitting can be arranged at a cost of £10 - £20 per hour depending on family numbers; there is a minimum charge of 3 hours, just let us know of your requirements and we will ask our sitters to quote for your specific needs.  This must be pre arranged through reception before your visit.  It is not always possible to arrange this at short notice.

Children are charged at £15per night for under 12's sharing a room or £30per night for over 12's sharing a room inclusive of bed & breakfast and VAT.
