Strattons Terms & Conditions – Manor House

A reservation is made with Strattons Hotel Ltd (‘the hotel’) and represents a legally binding contract between the guest and the business.

Booking the Manor House: A deposit of 50% is taken at the time of booking to confirm your reservation, with the remaining balance taken 8 weeks prior to arrival. If your stay is up to 14 nights, we will require a minimum of eight weeks’ cancellation notice prior to your arrival. For stays of 15 or more nights we will require 12 weeks’ cancellation notice. Failure to do so will result in a charge of the accommodation cancelled.

Cancellation: For cancellations or amendments of bookings within 8 weeks* prior to the date of arrival there will be a charge of 100% of the rate for the nights not re-sold. For any nights, that we can re-sell there will be no charge. Every effort is made to re-sell and a reserve list is always kept in case of this event.

We require a valid credit card to secure all bookings and reserve the right to charge the card as detailed above. By entering this contract, you are authorizing us to make the above charges to the card without any additional consent being required. We recommend taking out travel insurance to cover cancellations or loss of deposit, www.guestfirst.co.uk specialise in travel insurance.

Deposits may be transferred or refunded in full if a cancellation occurs outside of the cancellation notice periods as stated above.

Deposits may not be returned if a cancellation occurs within the cancellation period as stated above. A small admin fee of £25 may be incurred for deposits refunded inside the cancellation period.

Check in: Guaranteed from 4 pm on day of. Please contact us immediately if you are running late due to unforeseen circumstances.

Check out: No later than 10.00am.

We ask that if guests are arriving back from functions in the small hours of the morning, they be considerate of other guests staying on the site who wish for a good night’s sleep.

Allergies: Our duvets and pillows are made of natural materials, cotton, and feather to reduce dust mite allergy. If you require synthetic bedding as a preference, please let us know in advance.

Damage: We reserve the right to charge for the replacement, cleaning or repair of any item(s) belonging to the hotel, or the fabric of the hotel itself, damaged either wilfully or because reasonable precautions have not been taken. In this event your credit card will charged without prior consent being required against invoice(s) that will be provided for the costs incurred.

If guests lose room keys or accidentally take them home and do not return them there will be a charge of £15 to cover the cost of replacement.

Please note we do not allow outside music after 10pm. Parties only by arrangement with prior notice to ourselves. No outdoor shoes in carpeted areas. No stiletto heels on wooden floors.

Pets: We cannot accommodate dogs in the Manor House however dogs can be accommodated by prior arrangement on site in our annexe rooms CoCoes 1, CoCoes 2 and Print 1. A charge of £10 per day per dog is chargeable. We reserve the right to charge for any damage made without prior notice. Guests must advise us at the booking stage of their intention of bringing a pet to ensure the appropriate room is allocated. Strattons reserves the right to refuse accommodation and charge if guests arrive with pets not stated in the booking contract. Dog food and water bowls are available with walking routes & poop bags.

Children: Travel cots are charged at £10 per cot, z beds are charged at £25 per night.

Smoking: Strattons is ‘no smoking’ throughout. Any guest found to be smoking may be asked to leave immediately and will be charged £100 for room cleaning.

We accept cash, personal cheques with a guarantee card, and most major credit cards.

Tesla car charging points are available on a first come first served basis charged at a fixed rate of £20 per charge.
